某天整理資料，發現一本2000年買的鳥類攝影月曆，才想起自那時就想繡鳥，不過總沒好想法。直到去年2021年繡冠羽畫眉，以「立體莖幹針法」〈Raised stem stitch〉表現上翅，上翅的立體使整隻鳥活潑鮮活起來才有了突破。

幾天前南部下雨，爸媽家附近白頭翁數量明顯增多。連續幾日、一天數次，頑皮的白頭翁用嘴敲打窗戶透明的玻璃，可愛極了。

傳統刺繡中，鳥的眼睛採緞面針法，周緣兩圈滾針〈滾針效果同繡輪廓針法〉。
